The Day of the Rift (균열의 날, Gyunyeol-ui Nal) is the event that changed everything, about fifteen years ago. Since that day, gates have been opening at random across the world, and hunters face them.
What everyone knows
Everyone knows the date. A whole generation has grown up with gates, hunters and the institutions created to oversee them, such as the Gakseongcheong and the Bongsu guild.
What nobody knows
Its true cause remains the great mystery of the world. Nobody can say for sure why the rifts opened.

In the north of the peninsula, a huge scar still marks the land: the Rift. The closer you get, the greater the danger.
